Common Questions

No. You get 60 days of full access with no credit card required. You only need to add a payment method when the trial ends and you decide to continue.
A unit is active for any month in which it had at least one active day. If you add a unit mid-month and deactivate it at the end, it counts once for that month. Deactivating and reactivating in the same month is never double-billed.
There is no bulk import tool currently. Most landlords enter their properties and tenants directly. For a small portfolio it takes about 10 minutes. Historical transactions can be entered as a lump-sum opening balance.
Only if you want them to use the tenant portal for payments or maintenance requests. You send an invite from their profile and they set their own password. The portal is completely optional. You can use Rental Flow without tenants ever logging in.
You can export your entire account to a JSON backup file at any time. Your data is yours. We don't hold it hostage and we don't delete it. If you stop paying your account goes inactive, but your data stays right where it is. Contact us if you ever want it removed.
